Canine Influenza

Canine Influenza, or dog flu, is caused by the canine influenza virus (CIV). It is highly contagious.  CIV is easily spread from infected dogs to other dogs through direct contact, coughing and sneezing, contaminated objects.  People moving between infected and uninfected dogs. 
To protect your dog, talk to your Veterinarian about your dog's risk of exposure
Parkway Veterinary Clinic will require the CIV vaccine to board in our facility. For dogs who have never had it before it must be administered at a minimum of 2 weeks prior to boarding.
